John 7:38

"He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water."

Two true scenarios for today's devotional that actually happened to me.
The first was this morning as I got to work; the sink in the break room was full of dirty water. The problem, the plug was in the sink and no one wanted to put his or her hand in the dirty water to unstop it.
The second happened at home, and starting happening over time. As I would take a shower each morning I noticed the water draining slower and slower each day. It got to the point where I would take a shower and by the time I was done, the tub was up to my ankles with water. The solution, you got it, Drain-O. It took two tries, but eventually the slow draining tub worked like new again.

So what do these have to do with today's devotional verse?

"He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water."

Have rivers of living water been flowing from you lately?
Have you been telling other about Jesus?
Have praise and worship been coming out of your mouth?

If the answer is no to any or all of these, then the problem may very well be sin in your life slowing or stopping things up spiritually.
Maybe it's unforgiveness, or pride, or greed, or self-seeking, or lust, or covetousness, or lack of compassion, or?

So today you don't need to drink Drain-O, or even pull a plug, but you do need to pray and ask the Lord to show you what is hindering your witness and/or worship of Him. Then ask the Lord to remove it so that, out of your heart will flow rivers of living water."
